Myra Heintzelman "Big Nick" Handcrafted Biker Santa Claus ::DESCRIPTION DETAILS::This item was handcrafted in 1995 by Myra Heintzelman of Indianapolis, IN. Prior to her passing in 2006, Myra was known for her artistic crafts, especially her Santa Claus dolls which she sold locally at craft and art shows. She was featured a several occasions in the Indianapolis Star for her work. This doll is named "Big Nick" and is Santa Claus represented as a Biker. The doll is made from various types of cloth, fabrics and stuffing. It measures about 24" tall and is secured to a round wooden base. Big Nick holds in one arm a blue jean sack full of Christmas presents and decorations, as well as a purple Motorcycle toy. In the other arm he carries an American flag, a bear and a Light Beer can.
Big Nick's wears sunglasses and a bandanna that matches the bandanna his bear wears. The back of his leather jacket has a "Big Nick" eagle patch sewn into it. Big Nick also has a Mom tattoo on his arm. This doll is marked as being number 71 of 500.
The base of the doll and the hang tag are signed and dated by Myra. This item remained part of Myra's estate after her passing and is being sold on consignment by request of her family. Please see photos provided for the best representation of condition. |
